Argentine Diego Schwartzman, fifth seed, was eliminated on Tuesday by young American Sebastian Korda in three vibrant sets in his first round of 16 at the Miami Masters 1000.

The American, son of former Czech tennis player Petr Korda, won 6-3, 4-6 and 7-5 in two hours and 35 minutes of an exciting duel in which he took the initiative from the beginning.

At 20 years old, and exhibiting a bold and aggressive tennis, the tall Korda defeated a Top-10 player in the ATP ranking for the first time in his career.

In the quarterfinals he will face the winner of Tuesday’s match between Russian Andrey Rublev (4) and Croatian Marin Cilic.
