The selector of Peru, Ricardo Gareca, presented the preliminary list of 50 players for the America’s Cup 2021.
Mystery solved. Santiago Ormeño is on the preliminary list of the Peruvian team for the Copa América Argentina-Colombia just as Ricardo Gareca had half anticipated a few days ago.
Less than two months before the debut against Brazil, the Peruvian team already has its possible summoned for the continental event.
Without yet a specific date for the delivery of the final list of 23 players, there are several promises that seek to earn their place for the Copa América and displace several recurring players on Ricardo Gareca’s lists.
Paired in Group B, Gareca’s team will rest on the first date and later will play against Brazil (June 18), Colombia (21), Ecuador (24) and Venezuela (28) for their qualification to the quarterfinals of the competition.
