We will not intervene after acts of violence in the US

In a press conference, the head of the federal Executive indicated that the Political Constitution of Mexico establishes that the internal politics of other countries must be respected.

“It is in the public domain what happened yesterday in the Capitol. We have always acted with respect for the internal politics of other countries, as our Constitution establishes the principles of foreign policy: non-intervention, self-determination of the peoples.

“We are not going to intervene in these matters that correspond to resolve, to serve the Americans. It is always very regrettable that human lives are lost, in that case, we can express ourselves, we have always sought that all conflicts, and these apply to foreign and internal policy, are resolved through dialogue, with peaceful life, “he said.

In the National Palace, the president indicated that he wants there to always be peace, that democracy prevail “which is the power of the people and that there be freedoms. That’s it”.
