Villa Lugano: they were shot and killed with a bullet when washing the car | Chronicle

A 48-year-old man was shot to death this Saturday when he washed the car on the sidewalk of his house and at least five people were shot, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Lugano, reported police sources.

The incident occurred around 8.50 a.m. in block 26 of Barrio 15, known as Hidden City, where the victim was washing his vehicle and was shot and killed.

Police sources informed Télam that the investigation began when the man, identified as Marcos “Turco” Torres he was rushed to the Santojanni hospital, in the Liniers neighborhood.

There, the doctors verified that the man suffered a shot that entered through the shoulder and left through the chest.

According to the sources, the victim died as a result of the injuries suffered, after which personnel from the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA) began the investigation.

In principle, the investigators determined through a witness that about five young people passed through the place while firing shots into the air and in different directions.

After that, the man entered his home injured and his daughter, who was resting inside, took him to the health center where he finally died.

The investigations tried to establish if any of those projectiles was the one that caused the homicide and to locate the aggressors, who had already been identified.

Yamila, the victim’s daughter, posted a photo of her father and the alleged murderer on her Facebook account and said:
“It left a whole family in pieces. We want justice to be done for my dad !! ”.

“The silence is over, today all the neighbors say enough! Tired of this and one more hdp passing by and shooting like nothing, no matter what, we are all plastered but masks? My dad was a man who got up at 4 in the morning to go to work, who knows him knows what my dad was, forever present Turkish !!Yamila concluded.

The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office 61 intervenes in the case, led by Martín López Perrando.
