The Chilean is in rehabilitation after a fifth metatarsal fracture; Liga MX and the club have not commented on the matter
The Chilean midfielder of Santos Laguna Diego Valdés was caught in a club in Torreón, Coahuila, on Saturday night, according to a video released this Sunday by the Comarca Deportiva site.
In the 15-second video, Valdés is observed greeting a couple of people, without wearing a mask or respecting the healthy distance.
Bars and restaurants in Torreón are authorized to operate at 50 percent of their capacity and have a closing time of two in the morning.
Currently, the state of Coahuila is on a green traffic light, while Durango, the entity to which Gómez Palacio and Lerdo, municipalities that together with Torreón make up the Lagunera region, are in yellow.
In the morning, the Chilean participated in an activity authorized by the club within the “Guerretón” campaign. in which they collect toys to donate to private institutions on Children’s Day.
The footballer is in rehabilitation for a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot suffered in training at the end of January and for that reason he did not travel with the team to Querétaro for the commitment of matchday 14.
So far, both the club and Liga MX have not commented on the matter.
