First Lady Melania Trump’s chief of staff and former White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham has resigned from office with immediate effect. Grisham announced on Wednesday evening (local time) that it had been an honor for her to serve in the White House. She is proud of the many achievements of President Donald Trump’s administration.
Grisham had been a longtime associate of the First Lady and at times also a White House spokeswoman. After leaving this office, she became Melania Trump’s chief of staff. Grisham gave no reasons for her unexpected move. It remained unclear whether their departure was related to the storming of the Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump.
