The lawyers of US President Donald Trump have made a new attempt in the US state of Wisconsin Result of the presidential election to contest.

Trump’s campaign team has one Application to the Supreme Court filed in Washington to overturn a decision by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a statement said Tuesday.

The judges there had the beginning of December rejected by the majorityto negotiate a lawsuit designed by Trump’s attorneys to have more than 220,000 postal ballots excluded from the count.

If the lawsuit – as requested by the Trump camp – is heard, it would turn the outcome in Wisconsin, claimed Trump’s attorney Jim Troupis.

Trump victory in Wisconsin would nothing to change the outcome of the US election

A Trump win in Wisconsin would have nothing changed in the outcome of the election. Democrat Joe Biden has the overall choice won by a clear margin. So far, Trump has not admitted his defeat and claims he was through massive fraud been deprived of victory.

Neither Trump nor his lawyers have provided any substantiated evidence to support these claims. More than 50 lawsuits of the Trump camp have so far been rejected by courts, including before the Supreme Court. (jwo / dpa)
