The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) was ranked as the best university at the national level, according to the ranking prepared by América Economía magazine.
The publication places the highest house of studies with 84.80 points in the 2020 Quality Index, above other institutions such as Tec de Monterrey, with 79.96 points, and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), with 76.59.
Below is the top ten of the best universities in the country, according to said magazine and its score in said index.
1.-National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM): 84.80
2.-Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies: 76.96
3.-National Polytechnic Institute: 76.59
4.-Metropolitan Autonomous University: 74.03
5.- The College of Mexico: 72.75
6.- University of Guadalajara: 70.38
7.-University of the Americas Puebla: 69.74
8.- Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla: 64.69
9.-Chapingo Autonomous University: 64.18
10.-Universidad Iberoamericana CDMX: 61.70
The journal evaluated the teaching quality, research, prestige, postgraduate offerings, internationalization, accreditation, as well as the inclusion and diversity of 50 educational institutions.
