The first of the homicides was shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Av. Santa Fe at 7,700. A 40-year-old man was shot and killed in front of a newsstand.
He was identified as Rodrigo V., 40, wearing a Newell’s shirt and jeans shorts. His body had four bullet holes in the chest.
He was transferred to the Clemente Álvarez hospital, but died minutes later.
The second took place around midnight, in the southern part of the city, in Ayolas at 200 bis. A 40-year-old man was shot multiple times in the chest and taken to the Roque Sáenz Peña hospital.
Like the previous case, the man died shortly after in hospital.
41-year-old José A., blood emanating from his abdomen, was wearing a Newell’s Old Boys club shirt.
