Two little girls killed in Austria

The police in the Tyrolean Ötztal report of two children killed. The two girls, aged nine months and two years, were discovered in their children’s rooms in a single-family house in Längenfeld, said the head of the State Criminal Police Office, Katja Tersch, on the evening of the Austrian news agency APA.

The suspect is the father

The suspect is the 28-year-old father. He apparently attempted suicide after the crime, was in hospital and was not able to be questioned, the police said. The two small children were “killed by force against the neck,” said Tersch.

At first nothing was communicated about the mother of the children. The motive for the act remained unclear.
