Truck turns over and passenger loses a hand due to impact on the way to the State of Mexico

The truck crashed into the retaining wall that divides both directions of the highway, causing it to overturn and skid toward the shoulder.

State of Mexico, December 26 (AFondo) .- In the first hours of this Christmas a grave was registered Vehicular accident in the State of Mexico.

On the morning of this Friday, the rollover of a truck on the Mexico-Pachuca highway, in the municipality of Ecatepec, towards the state of Hidalgo.

It was around 8:00 am on December 25 that two women aboard a gray Honda CRV truck overturned meters ahead of where the first crash occurred.

According to witnesses, the truck hit the retaining wall that divides both directions of the highway, causing it to overturn and skid onto the shoulder.

“I was just going around the curve, when I saw that the truck hit, and turned … then with the tires up, it slid to the other wall,” said a motorcyclist.

Immediately, the elements of the National Guard that were still flagging the previous crash went to attend to the two women and request the support of an ambulance.

Drivers passing through this point helped the injured out of the truck.

Paramedics came to assess the women, as one of them, apparently the driver, 32 years old, suffered the amputation of her left hand, due to the friction of the rollover.

Both were transferred to a private hospital in the municipality of Tecámac.
