Four young people were injured this morning when the car that was transporting them crashed against a light pole in General Alvear, while the driver was uninjured and it was determined that I was drunk.
The incident occurred minutes before 2 o’clock this Saturday at the National Route 188, near the entrance to the town of Bowen, when a VW Gol was traveling eastbound and for reasons unknown, the 29-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle and impact against a light pole.
The other occupants of the car were taken by ambulance to the Hospital Enfermeros Argentinos. A 17-year-old adolescent had multiple trauma with constant temporal trauma to the skull and concussion; an 18-year-old young man was diagnosed with severe multiple trauma with loss of consciousness, skull trauma and several skull fractures, brain hematoma and rib fractures, and was admitted to intensive care; Another 18-year-old man suffered multiple trauma with a cutting injury to the right knee and a 18-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver was given the breathalyzer test which resulted in 0.72 grams of blood alcohol.
The Fiscal Office of Jurisdiction intervened.
