Los Angeles, CA – Three children, less than 5 years old each, died after being stabbed in the Reseda area of ​​the San Fernando Valley, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.

Authorities reported shortly after 2:30 pm that Liliana Carrillo, a 30-year-old Hispanic woman, was arrested in the city of Ponderosa, in Tulare County, in central California. Police confirmed that Carrillo is the mother of the minors and is the only suspect in this incident.

The victims were found in the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard, near Strathern Street. The police received the notification about the irregularity in that place around 9:30 am this Saturday, according to officer Rosario Cervantes of the Media Relations Section of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene at 9:31 a.m. and said the victims were minors, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

According to the LAPD, the suspect appears to be connected to “a carjacking in the Bakersfield area and may be driving with a stolen Toyota Silver J258T0 license.”
