At the end of June, the municipal Secretary of Tourism, José Luis Basilio Talavera, confirmed that the beaches would be opened with restrictions, there would be no beach furniture or gatherings for more than three people, only swimming, walking or running would be allowed.

In statements by phone, he indicated that the public security forces that make up the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace would be in charge of ensuring that restrictions on beaches are respected, while the state and municipal authorities would be in charge of verifying and supervising that hotels and restaurants comply with the sanitary filter to reduce the risk of contagion of COVID-19.
