The third day of the vaccination against Covid-19 started in the El Vergel military camp in Iztapalapa city hall From Mexico City.
Shortly before 10 in the morning, military and civilian medical personnel began to receive their anticovid vaccine in the eight modules that were arranged at this headquarters of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena).
This is the third day of inoculation —the first were on December 24 and 27— and part of the 42,900 doses are still being applied that just arrived in the country last Wednesday.
“I feel calmer because we are going to continue in contact with suspected and confirmed Covid patients, I feel calmer for myself and my family,” said lieutenant nurse Anahi Menez Martínez, who was one of the first to apply the vaccine in El Orchard.
Anahi has treated the coronavirus since May and carries out various activities, for example, transferring patients to observation areas, directing to the emergency room and supplying medicines.
For all this, receiving the dose of Pfizer and BioNTech has represented relief for the lieutenant nurse, who will continue to see infected patients for an indefinite period of time.
On the other hand, today will also start the vaccination day in the state of Coahuila, where it is planned to apply 8,775 supplies created by Pfizer and BioNTech.
