The bodies of the two women found at the end of the year on the side of the Ezeiza-Cañuelas highway were identified by investigators, who are now trying to establish whether they were murdered or if they died for other reasons.

Is about Maria Emilia Barrios (40) and Analía del Rosario Barbosa Martínez (26), who were found on December 25 and 31, respectively, in the jurisdiction of the Ezeiza district.

The first body was found in a field located about 100 meters from the intersection of Gálvez street with the highway collector. A couple found the body of a woman and immediately contacted the 911 emergency number.

Already in place, police from the 2nd police station. of Tristán Suárez confirmed that he was white, robust and with dark hair with faded ends. The woman was half-naked and wore a blue T-shirt, black leggings and blue Nike sneakers.

After the discovery, the prosecutor María Lorena González ordered the autopsy but so far the causes of death could not be determined and complementary results are expected.

The woman was identified after her 19-year-old daughter went to the police and said that in the early hours of Christmas they were celebrating until her mother she left alone without telling where she was going.

According to his statements, despite the fact that he did not return to his house in Transradio, in Esteban Echeverría, he did not make the complaint because on other occasions he had also left and had not returned for several days as he was going to different settlements in the area.

However, days later he saw in some zonal newspapers that a body had appeared that matched the outfit her mother wore in the early morning of his disappearance, so he approached the police station.

A week later, about six kilometers from the previous discovery, the body of Barbosa Martínez appeared at kilometer 33 of the highway, in the jurisdiction of the Uno de Ezeiza neighborhood.

A call to 911 alerted the staff of the 4th police station. that he went to the highway collector, where he interviewed personnel from the Penitentiary Service, since the Ezeiza prison is located there.

There, a neighbor had notified the prisons about the presence of the body of a half-naked woman in a field where garbage is thrown. According to sources, the police personnel entered the field located about 20 meters from the collector and found that the woman, in her 30s, was dead.

The Police established that it was a body of medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, 1.55 tall and that he had an appendix scar.

Later, the woman was identified as Barbosa Martínez, a Paraguayan national, who lived in Tristán Suárez.

The spokesmen added that the causes of death could not yet be determined as he had no visible injuries.

Prosecutor González, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3, Specialized in Sexual Crimes related to Trafficking in Persons and Gender and Family Violence, ordered different expert reports.

According to the sources, the judicial officer ordered that these tasks be carried out by personnel from Special Cases of La Plata.
