ECATEPEC, State of Mexico.
A dispersed party and an establishment suspended for selling alcoholic beverages during the Red Traffic Light due to covid-19, was the balance of the operation carried out this weekend by Ecatepec authorities to prevent contagion of the disease.
On January 2, in the first operation of 2021, in the San Miguel Xalostoc neighborhood, municipal government personnel asked the attendees of a family party held at a home to disperse, who agreed to end the celebration.

That night a joint operation was carried out to combat the sale of alcoholic beverages in stores, shops, street vendors and Christmas bazaars, in addition to verifying that establishments and other seasonal businesses comply with the recommended sanitary measures.
On Bulevar de los Aztecas, on the corner of Calle Tenochtitlán, in the Ciudad Azteca neighborhood, a bar with the corporate name ‘Alitas Baxx’ was suspended, which offered the sale of alcoholic beverages to diners.
Personnel from the Civil Protection, Comptroller, Government and Economic Development areas, among others, suspended said economic unit, which housed almost 100 people inside.

Also in the San Miguel Xalostoc neighborhood, a micheladas stall installed on the public highway was confiscated by personnel from the Coordination of Markets, Tianguis and Public Highway, because the Municipal Bank prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages on the streets.
The authorities toured, together with the covid cell, different Christmas bazaars to verify that the stalls have the necessary measures during this pandemic, in addition to inviting the owners of food sales not to receive diners and deliver only food to take away.
Municipal staff toured the bazaars located in the San Andrés de la Cañada, Ciudad Azteca and Guadalupe Victoria neighborhoods, among others.
