Youth agglomerations do not respect regulations to avoid massive contagion
The entrance to a public beach in the southern area of Mar del Plata was preventedly restricted to avoid the agglomeration of a large number of young people who were concentrated in the place, reported the Municipality of General Pueyrredón.
The operation was carried out by municipal General Inspection personnel and police officers, at the end of a day in which the temperature in the resort city exceeded 35 degrees.
Municipality sources assured that “entry should have been restricted to avoid crowds” due to “a spontaneous encounter” of groups of young people in a beach area located south of the Punta Mogotes Lighthouse.
On the same beach, hundreds of people gathered days ago to carry out an “after beach”, so it was decided to reinforce the controls.
“Alcoholic beverages were seized from at least three groups of young people who were there and the place was visited to verify the distance between groups,” they reported from the commune, which also indicated that it closed the entrance to the place “to prevent night encounters that encourage hiding. ”
