President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed that the director of the Adolfo López Mateos Hospital, in Rayón, State of Mexico, used influentialism so that his family was vaccinated against Covid-19 despite the willingness to immunize only people who care for patients of the coronavirus.

“The investigation was carried out and in effect, yes, a family, to whom the vaccine did not correspond, arrived and were vaccinated with influentialism; a doctor, his wife and one or two of his daughters,” said the head of the Executive.

López Obrador failed to give the names of those involved so as not to hinder the internal investigation that is being carried out in the case, because although no law was violated, the provision that only medical personnel involved in the care of Covid patients was violated .

He insisted on his call for the population to respect the shifts assigned by age for the application of the vaccine.

“We all have to help and let it be known that skipping or skipping the line is immoral, it is immoral,” said the president.

He reiterated that he canceled his tour scheduled for the weekend in Chiapas to stay in Mexico City and supervise actions to combat Covid.
