Juarez City.- An Oral Court imposed a sentence of 116 years and 8 months in prison against David Velázquez Ramírez, alias “El Greñas”, for the murder of two agents of the Women’s Prosecutor’s Office, the State Attorney General’s Office reported.
Through a press release, it was indicated that in the oral trial, the Public Ministry of the Specialized Unit for Crimes against Life, demonstrated the responsibility of the now sentenced person in the attack registered on October 27, 2017, in the Pradera subdivision. de los Oasis, in which two officers died and a policewoman was injured.
It was indicated that David Velázquez Ramírez, alias “El Greñas”, considered the criminal leader of the “Los Aztecas” gang, was arrested in November 2018, in the state of Aguascalientes, for the aforementioned events.
This day the sanctions individualization hearing was held, in which Velázquez Ramírez heard the prison sentence handed down against him, which he will serve at the Federal Center for Social Readaptation number 12 located in the state of Guanajuato. He was sentenced to make the payment of 2 million 942 thousand 850 pesos and 35 thousand 314 of funeral expenses of each victim, it was established.
