More than 800 people were dispersed by federal and municipal authorities from the different beaches in the bay of Acapulco, when they wanted to celebrate the arrival ofl New Year.

In addition, they deployed different inspection operations to maintain strict sanitary control, and at the same time verify compliance with preventive actions against the covid-19.

The operation was led by the secretary general of the city council, Ernesto Manzano Rodríguez, on Thursday night and early this Friday, in which Civil Protection, Regulations and Shows and Public Highway personnel participated, as well as elements of the Urban Police, Police Tourist, Road Police.

Also, personnel from the Tourist Care and Protection Center (CAPTA) attended, who during the inspection tour of the tourist strip closed bars, nightclubs, canteens and taquerías that exceeded the allowed operating hours and administrative proceedings were initiated against a miscellany with company name “Corona Beach”, for failing to comply with the hours allowed for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Similarly, it had the support of troops from the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), National Guard, Navy and local government agencies that deployed the routes from Caleta beach to Icacos, where they dispersed 800 people in order to avoid crowds or incidents.

During the winter vacation season, the municipal authorities of Acapulco intensify inspection operations to verify that commercial and service establishments comply with the regulations implemented in the port to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
