A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Santa Clara del Mar after hitting a car in which the police found that There was a 38-year-old woman who had been diagnosed with Covid positive and that, despite that, he did not comply with the isolation.
The incident occurred on Friday, when a car, driven by a 45-year-old man accompanied by a 38-year-old woman, collided with a motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old at the intersection of El dorado and Montecarlo, in Santa Clara del Mar.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and was taken from the emergency room to the Interzonal Hospital of Mar del Plata, where he was hospitalized with head trauma.
Parallel to this situation, Scientific Police personnel went to the scene of the crash and found that the woman who was a passenger in the Chevrolet Corsa had been diagnosed with Covid positive.
As it transpired, the woman was aware of her situation and deliberately violated the isolation, for which the Federal Prosecutor’s Office was informed, from where she was charged for violation of the Criminal Code.
For his part, the driver of the Chevrolet Corsa was charged with “culpable injuries”.
