The 2021 electoral process is approaching and the plurality of ideas is reborn in the public sphere. The political parties are getting ready for the race and in the next few days the citizens will see various candidates parade that will compete for positions of popular election throughout the Mexican Republic.
Carlos Loret de Mola, Mexican journalist and communicator, exhibited this Wednesday what could be considered a “fracture” in Morena’s bosom, party that brought Andrés Manuel López Obrador to the presidency in 2018.
“Who are the members of Morena? a corrupt man who received bribes from Odebrecht, a couple of abusers of women, several nepotists, another one who siphoned off public money and a lot of electoral fraudsters ”, Loret de Mola points out in his column published in the newspaper The universal.
Faced with these accusations, the journalist mentions, ironically, that it is not necessary for it to be published by any medium or emphasized by the opposition, since “In Morena they are killing themselves.” Following this line of argument, the driver also points out that the aspiring governors “They have said everything.”
In the text titled “Don’t tell them, let them tell them”, Loret de Mola manages to list some conflicts that have existed during these days between supporters and militants of Morena.
The first case that he presents occurred in the state of Guerrero, when Mario Delgado appointed Félix Salgado Macedonio as a candidate for governor of that entity. The news sparked controversy and Pablo Amílcar Sandoval accused Macedonio of being a “sexual aggressor and of having done fraud in internal surveys”. For its part, John Ackerman, a spokesman for labor, called the event a “historic break in Q4.”
In response to the accusations against Salgado Macedonio, Ackerman and his wife, the official Irma Eréndira Sandoval, were reminded of their alleged cases of corruption, that is, the CDMX property that they supposedly acquired with the help of the federal budget in favor of their campaign.
Another conflict that Loret highlights is that of Michoacán, when Cristóbal Arias, an underdog candidate in Morena’s internal polls, qualified the winner of the contest as “A candidate who has the corruption of Odebrecht behind him.” In the end, Arias also fell into accusations, as there was a sector of Morena that reminded him of his violent actions against women.
The also columnist of Washington Post he is sincere and says that in Morena even Mario Delgado himself has been accused of various irregularities. It must be remembered that in the contest for the Presidency of Morena, Porfirio Muñoz Ledo, an experienced civil servant, accused Delgado of “laundering money.”
The driver of latinus said that the same members of the obradorismo “They have spoken of corruption within, ignorance and disaster in economic management, negligence in handling the pandemic, the decomposition of health services and even kneeling before Donald Trump.”
“So you don’t have to tell them, let them tell each other”, Loret de Mola concluded in his article this Wednesday.
