The economic situation in the United States continues to show positive signs. Unemployment fell to 6% in March and more than 916,000 jobs created, according to the report published this Friday by the Department of Labor.
The improvement in employment in March is explained because the economic reopening has continued and thanks, above all, to the leisure, hospitality, public and private education and construction sectors, according to that document.
Among Hispanics, the unemployment figure is the most positive so far this year: 7.9%, compared to 8.5% in February and 8.6% in January.
Data that exceed the expectations of economists
Other experts went even further, forecasting a million new jobs in March.
February’s figures were also better than analysts expected: unemployment stood at 6.2% with the creation of 379,000 new jobs.
