5000 people dancing to live music without a safe distance – in Barcelona on Saturday evening for the first time in a long time big rock concert took place. All visitors had to do a corona antigen test beforehand. For this purpose, three discos closed due to the pandemic were converted into test centers in the morning. Of course, only people came to the concert negative test result. They also had to wear FFP2 masks. As an additional safety measure, a particularly powerful ventilation system was installed in Palau Sant Jordi. The concert was organized by several festivals, music organizers and a hospital. The event was intended to research possibilities of organizing major cultural events again despite the corona pandemic.

Even after the concert, it will continue to be observed whether the coronavirus was passed on to the crowd. The viewers would be monitored for 14 days and every possible case of infection will be recorded, said doctor MarĂa Llibre from the Germans Trias i Pujol de Badalone hospital near Barcelona.
