Guadalajara fans again emitted the cry against the rival goalkeeper in the match between Chivas against Santos

The homophobic scream was present again on the Akron Stadium field, now against goalkeeper Carlos Acevedo when he resumed the actions with a clearance in added time in the match between Chivas and Santos from matchday 13 of Guard1anes 2021.

In the final part of the match, the homophobic cry was present on two occasions, after the Santos goalkeeper, around minute 92, the fans issued the word from the stands, a situation that was recorded by the central referee.

Minutes later, in a clearance again by goalkeeper Acevedo, the cry was present, so the central referee Fernando Guerrero Ramírez, decided to stop the match after detecting that it was broadcast again.

This is the first time that the Chivas fans are present with the shout against the rival goalkeeper in Liga MX, Since Guadalajara had only played two matches at home with fans, one against America in Guard1anes 2020, and in the edition of the National Classic of this tournament on matchday 12.

With this cry, it is the third time that it is present on the Akron Stadium field, since in two clashes of the Mexican Under-23 National Team the cry was present on the Akron Stadium field.

FIFA targeted Mexican football for the expression of the fans during the Concacaf Pre-Olympic, when an investigation was initiated, and now in Liga MX the protocol that indicates that from the local sound invites the fans appears and has come into operation to desist from the shout and, later, the central referee stopped the match when the Chivas were looking for victory.
