A vaccine passport is a record of health data related to the coronavirus pandemic, including whether you have been vaccinated or tested negative for the virus that causes it.
Media reports indicate that some countries required visitors to show proof that they have been vaccinated. Governor Abbott’s measure prohibits state agencies or political subdivisions from creating a “vaccine passport” requirement to receive service.
The order also prohibits organizations that receive public funds from requiring consumers to provide documentation of vaccine status to receive any services or enter any location.
