‘Tecatito’ Corona retired at minute 19 of the duel, after a collision with a rival defender
FC Porto forward Jesús ‘Tecatito’ Corona retired injured in the 19th minute of the duel against FC Famalicão, after a collision with the rival left back, Ivo Rodrigues.
The Mexican tried on the court after the event, but walked with a slight limp, so he made a signal to the bench and asked for the substitution. In his place, came Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi.
At the end of the duel, the Blue Dragons, second place in the Primeira Liga with 70 points and three from the leader Sporting Lisboa, won at home 3 to 2, thanks to the annotations of Toni Martinez, (8 ‘), Mehdi Taremi (61’) and Marko Grujic (75 ‘).
Next matchday, FC Porto will visit the third place in the standings, Benfica (66 points), to play the Lusitanian soccer classic with three dates ahead after the clash.
