According to US media reports, the legendary US talk show host Larry King is sick with Covid-19 and is in hospital. The longtime talk show host has been treated for more than a week at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, King’s former house broadcaster CNN reported, citing family circles.

King, 87, has diabetes and has had numerous health problems in the past, including multiple strokes and lung cancer.

King hosted the talk show “Larry King Live” on CNN for 25 years. On the show, he interviewed Hollywood stars’ top managers and top politicians, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and former US President George W. Bush. His trademarks include large glasses, suspenders and colorful ties.

In 2010, King retired. However, he continued to conduct interviews for his website, and since 2012 he has broadcasts on the pay broadcaster Ora TV, which he co-founded.
