Hermosillo, Sonora.- After the New Year’s celebration, at least four people were injured by Lost bullets in Sonora.
Two of the reports were made through the 911 emergency number, and another two through social networks.
In a home in the Lomas de Nogales 2 neighborhood, in the municipality of Nogales, a woman was reported injured by a stray bullet. He stated that he was outside his house when he felt an injury to his left arm.

In that border municipality, the case of a 23-year-old young man from the Bella Vista neighborhood was also presented; He was injured with a bullet in the back when he was asleep inside a house located on Venados Street.
The bullet went through the roof of the home, injuring him in the back, the warhead embedded in the skin, for which he was transferred to a hospital to receive medical attention.
At around 0:05 a.m. on January 1, at an address on Guayparín Street in the Los Olivos neighborhood of Hermosillo, it was reported that a woman had received an injury from a stray bullet.

According to witnesses, the victim was living outside the house when he felt a sudden pain in his hand and upon checking he presented an apparent gunshot wound to the back of his right limb. Help was immediately requested and a Red Cross unit transferred the woman to a hospital.
In the Coloso Bajo neighborhood, the medical case of a 28-year-old man was reported to 911, who received medical attention for a wound caused by a firearm projectile in the left forearm. He entered the hospital by his own means, arguing that it was a stray bullet.

Damaged homes and perforated roofs
Bullet holes were also reported in the roofs of houses in homes in various municipalities of the state.
“A stray bullet pierced the roof of a house in Colonia Empalme and almost damaged a 2-year-old baby,” they shared in Nogales.
