The rave scene in Europe is proving impressively these days that it is no longer in the mood for exit restrictions or other protective measures in the fight against Corona.
After the brutal escalation in the southwestern French city of Lieuron (2500 participants, bottles and stones against the police, a burning police car) on New Year’s Eve, a huge rave in neighboring Spain has now been broken up.
As the Spanish media reported on Saturday, up to 1000 people celebrated a day-long party near Barcelona – despite the night curfew. Video images show the participants dancing under a large skull in a warehouse without a mask.
Participants also came from abroad
Curious: According to the newspaper “La Vanguardia”, the police only broke up the party 36 hours (!) After the first calls from concerned residents. According to the information, the rave took place in the small town of Llinars de Vallès (40 kilometers northwest of Barcelona).
Around 200 vehicles with foreign license plates were parked in front of the building. Photos show various mobile homes and vans with which the ravers apparently traveled from far away.
Local residents report that the party was supposed to last until January 4th, “La Vanguardia” wrote on. The police asked the people several times before the evacuation to evacuate the area.
The regional government announced an investigation into why the response was so late. In addition, it will be determined who organized the party. There is a risk of fines of up to 600,000 euros.
