Shocking images of the strong clash between an Urban and a trailer

A group of 21 people, originally from Villahermosa, Tabasco, suffered a vehicle accident in which a three-year-old boy and his mother died, while the rest were injured in a head-on collision they had this Wednesday on the Ciudad Victoria-Monterrey highway. in the state of Tamaulipas.

The accident was reported at 08:00 hours at kilometer 75 at the height of the La Rosalba ejido belonging to the municipality of Hidalgo, located about two hours north of the state capital.

It transpired that the injured were traveling in an Urban-type van owned by the transport company TB (Tierra Blanca SA de CV) and left the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas, belonging to Villahermosa, Tabasco, with the destination to the state of Nuevo León where the majority went looking for work.

At five in the morning, the travelers began to notice that the driver was tired so they warned him to be careful.

The man rested, but not completely and after fifteen minutes he continued on his way to the northeast of the country.

Unfortunately, he fell asleep again so he got into the opposite lane and crashed into an articulated Kenworth trailer that carried 20 tons of plaster and nozzle on each platform.

Before the strong blow, the last platform overturned, leaving tires up while the truck was “sliced” from the driver’s side.

The rest of the crew, as best they could, left the place and tried to help the other wounded; however, some did not succeed until the relief forces arrived.

Unfortunately, a child was killed at the site while his 19-year-old mother was taken to the hospital along with four other people, including the driver.

Two hours later, at the Ciudad Victoria hospital, the young woman died.

Civil Protection of the state reported that the operator of the van is in serious condition and with him there are three more hospitalized.

While at the site a total of 16 people were attended, most of them men and of young ages.

The same authorities were given the task of helping them to move to the capital of Tamaulipas.

The highway was closed for an hour, causing lines up to 8 kilometers long, but once the corresponding procedures were carried out, open a lane to give it intermittent traffic.
