Wien – Pumped full of drugs, raped, strangled, disposed of like garbage. Those were the last moments in the life of young Leonie (13).
It quickly becomes clear who did the martyrdom to the girl: four Afghans between the ages of 16 and 22. At least two of them have a relevant criminal record, one should have been deported from Austria in 2018. But it did not get to that. All four men are now in custody.
Pictures from a surveillance camera, which have only now emerged, show Leonie together with her killers.
The three look familiar, wear casual clothes, the young man in the middle looks at his cell phone. At first glance, nothing points to the cruel deed that Leonie will pay for with her young life.
The shocking crime
On June 26, Vanessa H. noticed from her balcony at 6:50 a.m. that a girl was leaning against a tree below. At first she thought the girl had circulatory problems. “But after she tilted forward, I realized that it was more serious,” she says. And further: “I then went down because I wanted to help too. But then the police came and tried resuscitation. “
Without success. The child’s body had strangle marks on it. And bruises on the chest. Leonie was dead, had not survived the tortures of her tormentors.
On the basis of a testimony, the police were able to arrest two suspects. They had gossiped to a Syrian and revealed the perpetrator’s knowledge. A third Afghan was arrested shortly afterwards – but the fourth suspect disappeared.
The men had lured the 13-year-old from Tulln, around 40 kilometers from Vienna, into a trap: Ali Sena H. (20) had written to her on Instagram, pretending to be 16-year-old. He lured them to Vienna, where they met initially with three Afghans.
On the night of June 26th, the fateful decision: Leonie accompanied the men to Armini H.’s apartment. There she was anesthetized with up to eleven ecstasy tablets. Again and again the men fell upon the defenseless girl.
When they finished with Leonie, they took her away to die by a tree.
