Samara Aurora Arroyo Lemarroy, the nutritionist who was missing in Veracruz since last December 23, was found lifeless, according to state authorities.
The body of the 28-year-old woman was located in Palmas Arriba, within the municipality of Actopan. State prosecutor Verónica Hernández Giadáns reported in a press conference that this Wednesday a search warrant was carried out at the home of William “N” and his parents, where the body was found. The tracing was accomplished thanks to the K9 canine agents.
William “N”, who was linked to the disappearance of the woman in December, is from the municipality where the body was found.
The prosecutor announced that the complaint of the disappearance of the young woman was received on December 24, for which an investigation was opened “immediately”. This, thanks to the information that the ministerial police, the Ministry of Public Security and the family provided.
Initial investigations pointed to William “N,” the Arroyo Lemarroy sports instructor, who was the last person the woman was seen with before disappearing. William was arrested on December 25 aboard a truck, which belonged to the nutritionist who graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana.
“William was arrested and linked to a process for the crime of outrages to authority and specific robbery, for which he was given one year of preventive detention, and four months for the complementary investigation”, Explained the prosecutor.
