Russian Novak expects oil demand to grow between 5.0 and 5.5 million bpd this year

MOSCOW, April 1 (Reuters) – Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday that he expects global oil demand to grow by 5.0 to 5.5 million barrels per day (bpd) this year.

Novak added at the beginning of the OPEC + group meeting that there is still a lot of uncertainty in the market regarding the pandemic even though the economy is on a recovery path.
