If you are a good connoisseur of Renault movements in Europe, you will know that the French group sells several of its models on that continent under the logo of the Romanian brand Dacia. These include, for example, the Duster SUV, the hatchback Sandero or the old Logan sedan. That is why Dacia is now the firm that tests in Romania a new Duster stretched in dimensions and with enough space to house three rows of seats.
As seen in pictures, this species of Grand Duster was captured together with a new facelift of the second generation of the conventional Duster that debuted in July in Chile. This new, more spacious variant of the Dacia / Renault Duster is still mounted on the CMF-B platform of the five-seater model and would have inside the hood the 1.3-liter turbo engine that develops 155 HP and 255 Nm (the same as the Arkana SUV coupé).
Coincidentally, these days Renault began in Colombia the production of the renewed Duster with the aforementioned 1.3-liter turbo engine (in Chile the model is configured with a 1.6-liter aspirated block). Finally, and according to reports from the Old World, the longer Dacia Duster is expected to enter production later this year.
