Recklinghausen / Cologne – In connection with the Bergisch Gladbach abuse complex, another suspect from North Rhine-Westphalia came into custody in December.
As the police and public prosecutor in Cologne announced on Tuesday, the Recklinghausen district court issued an arrest warrant against a man (40) from Recklinghausen on December 2nd.
He is strongly suspected of having badly abused his daughter (3)!
Nationwide 239 accused are recorded in the abuse proceedings. Seven suspects are in custody. The public prosecutor’s office has brought charges against twelve people, nine have already been convicted.
“We will continue to work with full commitment to get abused children out of their dire life situations,” explained Detective Director Michael Esser, head of the special organizational structure (BAO) “Berg”, which is supposed to clear up the complex abuse complex. This has already been achieved in 52 cases.
