In Peru there are currently 30,432 active cases of the disease, of which 13,581 are hospitalized and 2,357 of these in intensive care units (ICU).
Official figures also indicated that, so far, 574,173 people have been vaccinated against covid-19, of which 307,079 have already received two doses.
On the other hand, the Peruvian Executive approved this Friday a norm that allows establishing measures to strengthen the services of the Ministry of Health and regional governments in the context of the health emergency.
The regulation authorized a transfer in the public sector budget for up to 67.9 million soles (18.8 million dollars) for the purchase and implementation of medicinal oxygen plants, cylinders and the installation of medicinal gas networks, among others. medical devices.
While the health emergency lasts, the management of the acquisition and delivery of this equipment will be in charge of the Legacy Project, an institution that was created to organize the Pan American and Parapan American Games in Lima 2019.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the requirements for obtaining authorization for the marketing of the Sputnik V vaccine in the country have already been requested from the National Center for Supply of Health Resources (Cenares).
Broadcaster RPP noted that the document was sent by the Russian trade representative in Peru, who indicated that Russian companies that do business with Peru are willing to send the necessary information to obtain their official registration.
