Pemex pipeline explodes in front of Dos Bocas, Tabasco

This Thursday, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) reported the explosion of a duct of gasoline that is located in front of the Two mouths, in Tabasco.

Through social networks, images of the explosion. And, for its part, the federal agency reported that they activated the Emergency Response Plan in the area.

Likewise, Pemex detailed, through a statement, that it is already trying to control the fire, caused by the loss of containment in the duct that transports production versus Two mouths. In the Coastal Separation Battery.

Similarly, Petróleos de México indicated that they will suspend the operation of the pipeline to repair it after the explosion. With this, an analysis will be undertaken to determine the causes of the event.

“Oleophilic barriers were placed and there are emergency assistance vessels at the site. So far there have been no effects on personnel and facilities, ”added Pemex regarding the actions against the explosion.

In that sense, this Thursday morning it emerged that there was a maritime leak in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of the Tabasco municipality of Paraíso. That is, the place where Dos Bocas is located. Apparently this would be related to the explosion.
