Neuquén added 296 new positives and three other fatalities

The upward trend of the case curve positive in Neuquen remained this Sunday. According to the total report on Sunday, 296 new positives were detected in the province, in addition to three fatalities from coronavirus.

Since the pandemic broke out, 845 deaths throughout the province. The report indicates that the deaths were registered: two in Neuquén capital and one in Cutral Co. They are a woman and two men, whose ages range between 58 and 88 years.

As for the positives, according to the report, 93 of them were detected in the capital Neuquén, followed by Junín de los Andes with 51; and San Martín de los Andes with 48 infected people. The list of new positives continues with Rincón de los Sauces with 16; Plottier with 15; Zapala with 14; and eleven in Villa La Angostura.

In addition, Salud reported that seven were registered in Centenario and Caviahue, respectively; five cases in Cutral Co and another five in Senillosa.

Four in Aluminé and Loncopué; while three cases were reported in El Huecu and Piedra del Águila; and two infections were reported in Picún Leufú, Buta Ranquil, Las Coloradas and Bajada del Agrio.

Finally, a new positive was detected in the towns of San Patricio del Chañar and Villa Pehuenia.

With the new report, there are currently 4,379 active infected people. On the other hand, since the pandemic began, 42,906 infections have been registered.

Additionally, 225 new people recovered from COVID were reported. They are 119 women and 106 men, whose ages range from 3 months to 85 years. A total of 37,682 patients were discharged from the start of the health emergency.

Until Sunday night the occupancy of beds rose to 95% due to the escalation of cases and there are 98 patients hospitalized with a respirator in the Intensive Care Unit, another 13 in intermediate therapy and 163 in the general ward. In addition, 4,105 patients recover from the virus in their homes and have some type of follow-up by the health system.
