This was confirmed by the epidemiological report issued by the Ministry of Public Health of the province where 40 new cases of coronavirus were registered yesterday afternoon. These correspond to Oberá (1), Andresito (1), Leandro N Alem (2), Puerto Iguazú (3), San Pedro (3), Concepción de la Sierra (5), Eldorado (9) and Posadas (16).
With these 40 new cases confirmed to date, the province of Misiones reached a total of 1,466 cases so far in the pandemic, of which 1009 managed to recover (39 in the last hours) and 430 remain active.
It should be remembered that the disease caused by this virus claimed the lives of 27 missionaries, so they recommend continuing to respect preventive measures: distancing, the use of a chinstrap and alcohol gel to prevent the spread of the virus.
