After an analysis by Digital Foundry, it appears that the performance of Microsoft Flight Simulator Up to 53% improvement when upgrading from a GeForce GTX 10 graphics card to a GeForce RTX 30 Series. The simulator has become a test to check the power of graphics cards. It is a flight simulator that combines realistic representations of airplanes with a detailed map of our planet, which through free updates continues to improve the appearance of the best-known cities with recreations of monuments and other elements.
To recreate such a vast world, the latest installment in the series requires great graphic power, for this reason Digital Foundry has conducted a study to measure the performance improvement that would come from replacing a previous generation graphics card with a later one, from the GeForce GTX 10 Series to the current GeForce RTX 30 Series. To do this, it has created benchmarks programmed with their optimized settings in Doha, New York, Tokyo and London, the last city improved through a recent update.
The results of the analysis ensure that the RTX 30 Series cards double the performance of their corresponding models in the GTX 10 family, providing a faster, smoother and more reactive gaming experience. NVIDIA has taken advantage of the study publication to present the definitive PC / Rig for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team of moddersCalled the GeForce Garage, it has assembled the ideal kit to play Microsoft’s flight simulator in an impressive cockpit and mobile platform created by LogitechG and Next Level Racing. It includes a liquid-cooled GeForce RTX 3080 that sends images to three LG CX 65 “OLED TVs that envelop the user, running Microsoft Flight Simulator at 5760×1080 pixels.
