Santiago Ormeño is the Mexican with the most goals in the tournament and is among the most important network breakers in the last five years
MEXICO — Santiago Ormeño he scored his ninth goal of the 2021 Guard1anes tournament against Atlético de San Luis and reached 16 goals in the 2020-2021 season. The Puebla striker is the Mexican scorer with the most goals in this tournament and they place him among the best three best Mexican attackers in the last 10 short tournaments, only surpassed by Alan Pulido, scoring champion in the Apertura 2019, and Omar Bravo in the Opening 2015.
In the absence of a day for the completion of Guard1anes 2021, Ormeño So far, he ranks below Pulido and Omar Bravo, as the third Mexican striker with the best goal effectiveness in the last 10 championships.
The Puebla player has scored nine on these 16 dates of the tournament, a figure reached by José Juan Macías in the 2019 Apertura with León, Víctor Guzmán with Pachuca in the 2018 Apertura and Oribe Peralta in the 2016 Clausura with América.
