Media reports: Dead in protests in Myanmar

Again the people in Myanmar took to the streets against the military government – again there were riots. According to media reports, several demonstrators were killed.

Several people have apparently been killed in recent protests against the military regime in Myanmar. The Reuters news agency reported, citing doctors, politicians and local media.

Accordingly, a man died from a gunshot wound in the largest city of Yangon. In Dawai in the south of the country, the police shot at least three other people. In addition, numerous people were injured in both cities. According to Reuters, the police tried to drive the demonstrators away with tear gas, stun grenades and gunfire.
