The three children were found dead on the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard, near Strathern Street, around 9:30 am on Saturday, April 10, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
“Today at approximately 9:30 am, West Valley patrol officers went to the 8000 block of Reseda Blvd after receiving a radio call reporting a possible death in one of the apartments. Officers entered an apartment and discovered three children on the scene “, reads an LAPD tweet.
Hours after the discovery of the small victims was reported, the authorities announced the arrest of Carrillo around 2:30 pm on the same Saturday. The Hispanic woman was arrested in Ponderosa, a city in Tulare County, in central California.
According to the LAPD, the suspect appears to be connected to “a carjacking in the Bakersfield area and may be driving with a stolen Toyota Silver J258T0 license.”
