As the Los Angeles Lakers look to win and avoid the play-in tournament, LeBron James returned Saturday with 24 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in a 122-115 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
James missed the previous six games as part of his recovery from a sprained ankle.
Dennis Schroder, out of the last seven games due to league health and safety protocols, also returned against the Pacers, scoring 14 points.
Currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference, the Lakers can move up and avoid the play-in tournament if they win Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans and if the Portland Trail Blazers lose to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
