An early final was played between the PSG and Little, both leaders of Ligue 1 with 63 points. Keylor Navas’ team ended up putting the best they have on the field of play, despite the fact that on Wednesday they will face Bayern Munich for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The Tico goalkeeper, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Ángel Di María were there from the start, but they could not avoid the fall against the great revelation that this season has been having in the French tournament.

The Parisians were the dominators for much of the game and had two very clear plays in the first half to open the scoring. They did not take advantage of their opportunities and when the visitor had his he did not forgive. Jonathan David was in charge of scoring the only goal of the match.

The forward received the ball in the middle of the box and completely alone without any defender marking him. He finished off, the ball hit a PSG footballer and ended up sneaking through Keylor Navas’ left corner, that he could do nothing before the great change of direction that the ball suffered.

Later, Neymar and Mbappé tried to tie the game but had more participation in extra football plays. The Brazilian had several fights with different rivals on his return to football after overcoming an injury. At 90, the ex-Barcelona ended up being sent off for a double yellow.

PSG’s aspiration to stay with Ligue 1 is complicated. Lille has a three-point difference, Monaco was just one point behind them and, should Lyon win, they will end up sharing second place in Ligue 1. The triple crown is increasingly distant from the team that Keylor Navas defends.
