Puerto Rican starter for the Minnesota Twins, José Berríos, had a dominant performance Saturday in a 2-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Berríos, in his first outing of the season, fanned 12 batters and did not allow a hitter in six innings.

After making 84 pitches, the Twins manager, Rocco Baldelli, chose to remove it from the game. The Puerto Rican, who obtained the victory, did not walk.

Berríos is the first Twins pitcher to have more than 12 strikeouts in six innings in a game since Francisco Liriano did so in 2012.

Corbin Burnes, who took the loss, struck out 11 batters.
