After US President Donald Trump is corona, there is speculation that if he falls seriously ill, the country’s command will be handed over to Vice President Mike Pence.
Trump released this video message on Twitter
Trump shared a video message on Twitter in which he said he thinks he is doing well. She also told about Melania that the First Lady is also doing very well. Trump said he thinks his health is improving if he falls ill so Vice President Pence can assume power and perform the president’s duties.

Power can be transferred to Pence under the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution. Even Trump does not sign the transfer papers. Under this amendment, if a president dies or resigns or is unable to discharge the power and duties of his office, the 25th amendment allows the vice-president to take over. If the President is unable to serve the country due to any illness, then the Vice President can be transferred to power. According to the 25th amendment, if a President is unable to discharge his duties, the Vice-President may “discharge the powers and duties of the office as acting President”.
When was the constitution amended
The constitution was amended after the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy in 1963. It was passed by the Congress in 1965, and ratified in 1967. If Trump falls seriously ill, power may be transferred to the Vice President. If Pence himself falls ill, then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will take over as caretaker president.
