Zucchini are very light and not capricious vegetables, therefore zucchini casserole with cheese it turns out to be low in calories and fluffy. Other ingredients include vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, onions, herbs), chicken, or ground beef.

Zucchini gives a lot of liquid, so the casserole is juicy and without pouring. But you can also use an egg, cream, or sour cream sauce. The casserole sprinkled with cheese turns out to be delicate in taste, with an appetizing golden crust.

Zucchini casserole with cheese and sour cream.

Ingredients: 1.5 kg zucchini, 500 g sour cream, 4 eggs, 200 g cheese, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 bunch of basil, salt.

Preparation: Peel the zucchini and seeds, cut into thin slices and steam until half cooked, drain in a colander and cool. Mash the basil leaves with the garlic. Beat eggs, combine with sour cream, combine with garlic mixture, add salt and pepper. Put the zucchini in a greased dish, sprinkle with grated cheese on top, cover with a mixture of eggs, sour cream, garlic and basil. Bake until golden brown in a preheated oven.

Ingredients: 1 kg zucchini, 600 g minced chicken, 250 g grated cheese, 1 onion, half a carrot, salt, spices.

Preparation: finely chop the onion, fry until half cooked, add minced meat with spices and fry until tender. Grate the carrots, fry, add the diced zucchini, fry for 8 minutes over medium heat, add salt and spices. Mix the minced meat and zucchini, fry for another 3 minutes. Put the mass in a mold, sprinkle with cheese, garnish with herbs, bake for half an hour at 180 ° C until a crust forms.

Zucchini casserole with cheese and bread.

Ingredients: 1 zucchini, 100 g of hard cheese, 3-4 slices of white bread, 2 eggs, 150 ml of milk, 1 bunch of dill, 1 onion, salt, pepper.

Preparation: Cut the courgettes into thin slices, place in a saucepan, simmer until soft for 5 minutes with a little food. Cut bread and cheese into cubes, greens and onions – finely chop. Whisk eggs with milk, salt and pepper. Stir the ingredients, pour the mixture into a mold greased with butter, bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.

The cheese zucchini casserole can be served hot or cold, with garlic sauce or mayonnaise. Serve a fresh vegetable salad with the casserole.
